Lost Battles

Consider this a cross-posting of a PrettyFakes post.

Lost Battles, edited and illustrated by David McCarty (a.k.a. gorjus), is a new journal/zine of new southern literature. It includes, among other pieces, a (very) short story by yours truly. The contributors are as follows:

Ashley Gates, of Cosmopsis
Andrew Williams, of Hub City
Tracy Carr, of The Oh Really
Brannon Costello, of PrettyFakes and editor of Howard Chaykin: Conversations
Jack Butler, author of Jujitsu for Christ and Living in Little Rock with Miss Little Rock
Patrick Puckett, of Ghost House Design

Copies are available through PrettyFakes, at Sneaky Beans Coffee Shop here in Jackson, and other neato Jackson locations. The first four people to email me (wbiggins2 at gmail dot com), or to leave a comment on this post, will get a free copy from me.

Spread the word.

  1. Sounds like a fascinating lineup. Am I too late to gain one of the free four? Should I just go back to watching the royal wedding on my computer?

  2. No, it’s not too late. I’ll drop one by your office on Monday. Thanks!
