Winter Chill: A new mixtape

Download my new mixtape, Winter Chill, right here. Here’s the setlist.

UPDATE (April 2013): Alas, the mixtape is no longer available.

I’m announcing a new regular feature for the site: the quarterly mixtape. No, I’m not a rapper. By “mixtape,” I mean the old-school selection of songs, organized by a theme that’s visible only to me, with homemade cover art, and off-the-cuff liner notes. You know, the stuff you tried to woo girls with when you were sixteen.

As with Music of the Shea-Lyn Monks, each mixtape will technically be an in-between issue of Afronaut. This one, Winter Chill, is issue #3.5. (Issue #4 should be out in late-April, and it’ll be a big one. Get excited.) It also serves as my contribution to a mixtape club of which I’ve been a part for more than three years. I thought I would share it with the rest of the world.

Unlike the paper zines, the mixtapes will be free, always, and available only as downloads. Enjoy!
