Once more, with feeling

Two years ago, I served as a judge for the Children’s and Young Adult Bloggers’ Literary Awards, better known as the Cybils. That time around, I was on the final selection committee for the children’s poetry book award. I skipped a year but now I’m back, judging a section that’s much more my speed—the graphic novel.

Nominations are open from 1 October to 15 October 2009. (Unless something changes radically, I’ll be rooting for Moomin: The Complete Tove Jansson Comic Strip: Book 4. In any case, I will help select a winner from five finalists, starting in January 2010.

  1. QB, I can’t wait to see which graphic novels get nominated (and win). It’s always an interesting list.
