TIFF ‘07, here we come!

It’s more or less official: I’ll be attending this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, probably for just a week. I love the city, I haven’t seen it since June 2003, and this here’s as good an excuse to visit as I can muster. I’m calling out to all past and future attendees for tips about in-city transportation, hotels, tickets, scheduling, comradely meetings for lunch, dinner, and/or drinks, etc. Any advice–either in the comments box or by email–will be greatly appreciated.

Darren Hughes’s 1st Thursday is a good clearinghouse for newbies, which he plans to update with movie schedules, general information, and advice.
