A little meme to relax

Girish started it, and OGIC got the ball rolling. I rarely respond to memes, but here we go. Enjoy.

Four jobs you’ve had in your life: cashier/bagger at Whole Foods Market, campus literary journal editor/graphic designer, campus departmental assistant/lackey, and book editor

Four movies you could watch over and over: Out of Sight, Porco Rosso, The Philadelphia Story, and Rushmore.

Four places you’ve lived: I’ve only lived extensively in two cities–Dallas, TX, and Jackson, MS.

Four TV shows you love to watch: My Name Is Earl, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, and the American version of The Office (which is really different from the original version, but quite good on its own). Bonus: So help me god, I can watch Tyra Banks knit for hours on end, so, yeah, America’s Next Top Model, too.

Four places you’ve been on vacation: Paris, Toronto, Seattle, New Orleans.

Four websites you visit daily: About Last Night, CultureSpace, PopMatters, and Maud Newton. Sleazy, impish, almost-every-day bonus: GirlGenius.

Four of your favorite foods: jambalaya, French onion soup, spinach quiche, Chicago hot dogs.

Four places you’d rather be right now: White Rock Lake (Dallas, TX), Graceland, Too (Holly Springs, MS), Elliott Bay Books (Seattle, WA), and home, in my easychair, finishing up Neil Gaiman’s amazing Anansi Boys

And, now, back to work.
